In poly-urethane foam production, organo-tin structures provide catalytic effects, particularly to the Isocyanate – Hydroxyl reaction. Organo-tins therefore are used next to tertiary amines in many foam reactions. This product is meant for use in semi-rigid foams where good cross-linking is required. In Silicone-elastomers, organo-tins are used to catalyse the curing of polysiloxanes.

This product can be applied concentrated, diluted with solvents or together with netting agents (tetra-alkoxysilanes) to the RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) Silicones. Because this product is extremely compatible with tetra-alkoxy-silanes, it is possible to produce stable catalyst/netting agent blends.
