PATSTAB
901 is a non toxic co-stabilizer used for both rigid and plasticised
PVC applications. It has a positive effect on long term heat
stability when used in conjunction with organotins or metal
carboxylate stabilizers.
Patstab 901 significantly improves the weatherability of PVC articles. It also significantly upgrades the stability and performance of Zn containing stabilizers such as Ca/Zn. Patstab 901 has the ability to act as an internal lubricant and a secondary plasticiser, based on the concentration used in the formulation. In rigid PVC processing it is used as a co stabilizing internal lubricant. For plasticised applications it is used as a co-stabilizer as well as a secondary plasticiser. Patstab 901 is an epoxydised soya bean oil which is approved in most countries for food contact applications.
