Calcium / Zinc stabilizers are less effective than Barium / Zinc and Barium / Cadmium systems. However the two almost non-toxic components Calcium and Zinc are permitted worldwide for stabilizing non-toxic PVC articles (packaging materials, toys and bottle seals). Permitted co-stabilizers can also be used to enhance the effectiveness of such systems. |
